Virginia Police Searching for Man That Set Dog on Fire after Being Tied to a Pole

Police in Richmond, Virginia, are searching for a man they believe intentionally set a dog on fire that had been tied to a pole in a park. 

Officials say that a man in multiple layers of pants ran up to the pit bull that had been tied to a pole, pouring accelerant on it and setting it ablaze, then running away. The dog, named Tommie, is being treated after suffering burns to 40% of his body. 

Police are asking for anyone with information to step forward and help in their investigation.
