A Boston police officer has been placed on leave after his weapon was reportedly stolen by strippers.
He has been listed as victim number 1 in a police report filed that details the events leading to the weapon theft. The officer was reportedly out bar-hopping when he went to a hotel bar and later into a room with the two women.
Police added that his weapon was dropped off anonymously at a nearby fire station. Melissa Dacier, 22, of Providence, and Neish Rivera, 25, of Pawtucket, were charged with felony larceny of a firearm and conspiracy after being identified by police.
