Officials says that at least 20 people have been arrested after a drug ring running out of a firehouse was discovered in Middletown, New York.
Investigators say that Middletown Fire Lieutenant Paul G. Smith was the ringleader of the drug operation. The FBI, DEA, and New York State Police arrived Tuesday morning to arrest those involved in a series of raids in Orange and Rockland counties.
Smith and two other men, Garey Michel and Marquis Gamble, were charged with operating as a major trafficker. Also arraigned was Fire Chief Dominick Guardino.
