At least 33 people have been arrested for sex trafficking in advance of Super Bowl 53 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Authorities say that four victims were also rescued in the operation. Large events such as the Super Bowl and FIFA World Cup tend to attract large movements in trafficking due to the large uptick in travel around the areas. Over 40 local and state law enforcement agencies are assisting in Super Bowl operations.
The arrests reportedly came over the last four days, all within the Atlanta metro area.
