A flight attendant reportedly died mid-flight as a Hawaiian Air flight was on its way to New York City.
The flight was forced to land in San Francisco so that the man’s body could be taken off and passengers switched to another flight. The flight attendant reportedly suffered a heart attack during the flight and was declared dead on arrival to San Francisco.
Emile Griffith had reportedly been with the airline for over 30 years. The airline has provided counselors for all crew members that worked with and knew Griffith.
