A teenager in Napa, California, was arrested after he reportedly was planning a school mass shooting.
The teen, who has not been identified, reportedly planned to launch two shootings at River Middle School and Vintage High School. He had gone through the early stages of planning and researching guns to use in the attack. He also threatened a fellow student who knew of his plan, saying that he would kill them if they told.
“I would classify it or characterize it as probably a Columbine-style attack,” said Napa Police Chief Robert Plummer, adding that the preparations were in “the early stages of the planning phase.”
