Florida Man Accused of Threatening Mass Shooting at Former High School

A 20-year-old Florida man has been charged with allegedly threatening a mass shooting at Fernandina Beach High School.

Wesley Zane Twiggs admitted to posting two threats online in December on anonymous chat rooms. He posted the following:

“My name is Wesley Twiggs and I am going to shoot up Fernandina Beach High School on January 15th. I will be on the news… so you better keep these messages if you want anyone to believe that this conversation took place.”

Police say he did not have any firearms in his home, nor any other means to follow through on his threat.
