A man in Lafourche Parish, Louisiana, was arrested after he tried to take a gun into a jail by hiding it in his buttocks.
Police say that they were investigating suspicious activity at the home of Lori Dupuy. When they approached the home, Dupuy gave a false name and ran away from police. The officers then moved to question Justin Savoie, who was also in the home.
They found a concealed handgun, marijuana, and a pipe used for smoking marijuana during a pat down search of Savoie, as well as a “zip gun” in his truck. Savoie was then taken to jail, where during processing, deputies at the Lafourche Parish Jail say that they found he was trying to conceal a gun in his buttocks.
Savoie was charged with first offense possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, a felony charge of taking contraband to penal institution, and a felony charge of improper registration of a firearm.
Dupuy remains at large.
