Comedian Kevin Hart says he is reconsidering his decision to walking away from hosting the Academy Awards after controversy over anti-gay social media postings and jokes during stand-up routines from last year.
In an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Hart was told that members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences had expressed interest in his return to the show. “We want him to host, we feel like maybe he misunderstood or it was handled wrong, or maybe we said the wrong thing,” DeGeneres told Hart. “But we want him to host. “Leaving here I promise you I’m evaluating this conversation,” Hart told DeGeneres.
