Four people have been arrested after police recovered over half a million dollars worth of stolen tequila in Florida, according to media reports.
“Vidal Estrada, 66, Lemuel Escobar, 35, Humberto Ramirez, 37, and Alberto Obaya, 46, have each been arrested and charged with grand theft, resisting arrest and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance. Obaya faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance.”
The men allegedly stole the tequila from a truck that was hauling the load. The driver had stopped for dinner, and noticed upon his return that the trailer was no longer attached. The men were found with several hundred cases of Patron.
