BREAKING: The “Captain” of the Musical Duo “Captain and Tennille” Dies

Daryl Dragon, best known as the “Captain” in the 70s musical group “Captain and Tennille” has died at the age of 76.

Dragon reportedly died while in hospice in Prescott, Arizona. His spokesman says that he died of renal failure with his ex-wife and former musical partner Toni Tennille. The duo were best known for the song “Love Will Keep us Together,” which topped charts.

Their other songs included “Muskrat Love,” ”Shop Around” and “Do That to Me One More Time.” The couple separated in 2013 and divorced the following year.
