Health officials are warning passengers that traveled through Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal B after an international passenger with measles went through the airport.
The infected person was likely contagious when they traveled on Christmas Eve from Brussels. Officials cautioned that any person at the airport on that day between the hours of 12 and 4 p.m. could’ve been exposed to the disease.
Any New Jersey residents that may have been exposed will be notified by New Jersey health officials. Among the symptoms that can appear with the measles are a rash, high fever, and a runny nose.
