Colin Kroll, the CEO and co-founder of the trivia app HQ Trivia, died Sunday of an apparent drug overdose, TMZ reports. He was 35.
Kroll, who also co-founded the former Vine app, was reportedly found by police at his apartment in downtown Manhattan after his girlfriend asked cops to perform a welfare check. Sources told the outlet Kroll is believed to have ingested cocaine and heroin prior to his overdose.
Kroll co-founded HQ with Rus Yusupov, and the game debuted in August 2017 to considerable popularity.
