Two underage migrants who were trying to cross the Strait of Gibraltar on a truck tire were rescued according to Spain’s maritime rescue service.
The rescue craft pulled up the two minors on Saturday after they were alerted to the situation. Their sex or nationality were not released. It appeared that they left from Morocco. The Associated Press reported that “The U.N. says more than 750 people have died while attempting to cross from Africa to Spanish shores in 2018.”
