Stan Lee, the man best known for being the co-creator of Marvel Comics, has died at the age of 95.
An ambulance reportedly rushed to his home early Monday and he was taken to the hospital, where he later died. Lee had battled pneumonia and several other illnesses over the last year. Lee started Marvel with Jack Kirby in 1961 with The Fantastic Four. He then went on to create Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man, and The Avengers.
He is survived by his daughter, Joan.
