(3:05 p.m. ET) AP now reports, citing source, that 11 people have been confirmed dead in the shooting.
Metro Police in Washington, D.C., say that they will be increasing their presence at area synagogues in light of the attack, also adding that there is no credible threat in Washington, D.C., at this time. (ABC)
An FBI official says that there is no indication that the suspect was known to law enforcement officials before the incident. (AP)
AG Jeff Sessions says that they will charge the suspect with hate crimes and other charges that “could lead to death penalty.” (AP)

Paypal, Hosting Site, Bans Social Networking Site in Wake of Shooting
Paypal has banned social networking site Gab from using its platform following revelations that the gunman at the Pittsburgh synagogue gunman used the site to make anti-Semitic posts. (source)
(10:54 p.m.) Gab also announced Saturday evening that Joyent, their hosting provider, has also banned them.

Amber Alert Issued for Girl Abducted in Vancouver, Washington
An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old girl that was abducted in Vancouver, Washington. Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez was abducted Thursday at about 1 p.m.
Esmeralda Lynn Lopez, 21, is identified as the suspect. She is described as Hispanic, 5 feet tall and weighing 138 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. (source)
