Authorities are investigating after a 3rd grader died suddenly at the John F. Hartranft School in North Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
The boy reportedly collapsed in-between classes after saying he felt sick. An ambulance came, and a staff member attempted CPR, but he was unable to be revived. The nurse on staff at the school was not there that day, which has been a reoccurring issue, according to parents.
It is not known if the boy had a previously known condition that may have led to his sudden collapse.
