Legendary composer John Williams has pulled out of several scheduled concerts after he fell ill and needed to be hospitalized.
Williams, who has won several Grammys for his compositions in movies such as “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “E.T.,” and “Jaws,” fell ill earlier this week and needed to be taken to the hospital, according to a statement from the Royal Albert Hall to those scheduled to attend the concert. He will be replaced by Dirk Brossé in Friday’s concert.
Williams had also been due to conduct the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra on 3 and 4 November. Those concerts have been cancelled.
