According to a newly released autopsy report, YouTuber Trevor Heitmann, 18, did not try to avoid the crash when his McLaren crashed into oncoming traffic.
Heitmann was driving his car head-first into oncoming traffic, and did not make any attempt to swerve out of the way, according to the California Highway Patrol. He eventually crashed into a Hyundai, killing himself as well as the mother driving the car, and her daughter.
There were no signs of drugs or alcohol in his system at the time of the accident. He had no history of mental illness, but it has been previously reported that police were warned of his erratic behavior hours before the crash. 8 others were injured.
Heitmann ran the popular McSkillet YouTube page, and was known for creating and selling popular skins for the Counter Strike: Global Offensive video game. He was reportedly banned by the creators of the game in the months prior to his death.
