New details have been released by the sheriff’s department in Jacksonville, Florida, regarding the high school football game shooting from Friday night.
The triple shooting at Raines High School left Joerod Adams, 19, dead, with two more juvenile victims, one male and one female, aged 16 and 17, injured. Both of the injured victims are expected to survive their injuries.
Early results of the investigation indicate that the male victims were at the game together and may have been the direct targets of the shooting. The female was struck by a stray round. The suspects are believed to have ties to a criminal street gang. Their identities have not been revealed.
