BREAKING: Strong Earthquake Strikes Alaska

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake has hit central Alaska. The U.S.G.S is reporting that the quake hit at 6:58 a.m. Sunday.  It struck an area 41.8 miles east of Kavik River Camp and 342.9 miles northeast of Fairbanks. The earthquake had a depth of about four-tenths of a mile, according to the survey.

There are currently no reports of damage or injuries.
