An explosion has reportedly rocked an event that Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was attending.
Venezuelan state television was broadcasting Maduro’s speech when the camera shook, and the military leaders surrounding him looked confused. The camera then panned away to the crowd of soldiers, who scattered shortly after.
Preliminary reports after the fact show that the explosion may have been caused by a drone with two explosive charges that were meant to be an attack on Maduro. At least 7 people were reportedly wounded.
