6:33 p.m. ET – Denver Health was temporarily put on lockdown as a patient has been moved to the isolation unit. Officials say that Ebola is a possible diagnosis.
Although it’s a possible cause, health officials are cautioning that Ebola is not a likely cause.
“Connie Price, an infectious diseases physician and Chief Medical Officer of Denver Health, said this will not likely be a confirmed Ebola case after an initial review of the patients’ symptoms.” (source)
6:34 p.m. ET – The patient was transported to the hospital at approximately 8:30 a.m. local time on Sunday morning. The hospital says they are following standard procedure for diagnosing patients.

7:00 p.m. ET – As medical officials in Colorado work to determine the exact cause of the patient’s symptoms, it is very important to note that the statements we’ve seen from officials there seem to indicate that it is quite unlikely that this will be a positive Ebola case.

9:48 p.m. ET – More details coming out of the situation in Denver. The patient reportedly recently returned from a missionary trip to the Democratic Republic of the Congo, so the hospital isolated the patient out of an abundance of caution due to some symptoms that were being shown.
Initial tests show the patient DOES Not have Ebola.
