Man Flees Police in Stolen Car because He says His Parole Agent told him to not have Police Contact

A man fled police in a stolen vehicle in Madison, Wisconsin, because he says his parole agent told him not to have police contact.

Antonio D. Rowe was seen in the stolen vehicle by a bystander, who recognized him from an previous theft case. The bystander called police, who reported to the scene. Once they arrived, Rowe took off in the vehicle, before finally being stopped. Once stopped, he attempted to flee on feet, but was quickly stopped again.

Rowe then reportedly told police that he fled them after his parole agent told him to not have any police contact. Rowe was arrested on tentative charges of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent and resisting an officer.
