BREAKING: MLB Hall of Famer Dies

Major League Baseball Hall of Famer and “Mr. Cardinal,” Red Schoendienst, has died at the age of 95.

Schoendienst played for the Cardinals from 1945-1956 and again from 1961-63. He later coached the team and then managed them.

Following his coaching years, he worked as a special assistant to the general manager and was in uniform for every home game.

In all, he wore the Cardinals uniform for more than 60 years.
