Five women have filed suit in civil court against the University of Southern California, alleging that a longtime gynecologist at the university victimized them.

Dr. George Tyndall is accused of sexual misconduct in several different cases. In 2003, Tyndall allegedly forced his entire ungloved hand into one woman’s vagina during an appointment, while making “vulgar” remarks about her genitalia.

Another alleges that he groped her breasts during a 2008 exam and falsely told her that she “likely had AIDS.” The university is accused of not properly addressing the complaints from clinic staffers after the reports of incidents.
