The oldest person in the United States has died at the age of 114. Delphine Gibson died on Wednesday, according to the Robert D Heath Funeral Home in Ohio.

Gibson became the oldest person in the United States in 2017 and attributed her long life to good food and her faith in God. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf said he was “saddened to hear of the passing of Delphine Gibson, America’s oldest citizen.”

He wrote on Twitter: “Born in 1903, she lived in PA for more than 90 years. She was an incredible Pennsylvanian and she will be missed.” Miranda Glover, the unit manager at her nursing home in 2017 said she didn’t take any medication aside from a vitamin a day.

Her husband died in 1980. Leslie Brown from Ohio has now become the oldest American at the age of 113.
