A series of earthquakes, including a magnitude 5.0, have struck Hawaii Thursday.

The other earthquakes were relatively small, ranging from 2.5 to 2.8 in magnitude. According to USGS, the quake caused a brief ash-plume from the nearby Kilauea volcano, as well as some rockfalls.
