BREAKING: White House Won’t Rule Out Kim Jong-un Coming to Washington

Deputy White House press secretary, Raj Shah said on Sunday that he would not rule out the possibility of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un coming to the White House for an upcoming meeting with President Trump.

“Nothing is being ruled out,” Shah told ABC’s Jonathan Karl on “This Week,” when asked whether Kim could potentially meet Trump at the White House. Shah also refused to rule out the possibility of Trump traveling to Pyongyang to meet the North Korean leader.  “I don’t think that that’s, you know, highly likely but again, I’m not going to rule anything out,” Shah told Karl.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo on Sunday said the location and timing of the summit is still being determined.

Trump said on Saturday that he is anticipating a successful meeting with Kim. “I think North Korea is going to go very well,” he said. “I think we will have tremendous success … they promised they wouldn’t be shooting off missiles in the meantime, and they’re looking to de-nuke. They’re gonna be great.”
