BREAKING: “James Bond,” “Alfie” Director Dies

Lewis Gilbert, the director of “Alfie” and several “James Bond” movies has died at the age of 97.

Gilbert directed “Alfie” which put actor Michael Caine into the spotlight, as well as three “James Bond” movies. He directed “You Only Live Twice,” “The Spy Who Loved Me,” and “Moonraker.” The British director began his career making war documentaries with the Royal Air Force during WWII.
