A powerful earthquake has been felt in Mexico City.
The earthquake struck at a magnitude of 7.5 and was at a depth of 43 kilometers. The quake centered around 2 kilometers SE of Pinotepa de Don Luis. (source)
Buildings were seen shaking by witnesses in the city. We will provide more information as it becomes available.

No tsunami warnings or advisories are in place, according to officials.
According to the USGS PAGER service, there is an 87% chance of fatalities resulting from the earthquake, and over a 50% chance of at least 10 fatalities.
Many reports of damage already coming in, with reports of walls and even entire buildings collapsing. There have also been at least 20 aftershocks already as of 7:29 p.m. ET
A preliminary-magnitude 5.4 aftershock has hit the area. This is the largest aftershock so far (7:49 p.m. ET)
There were over 1 million power outages, but no deaths or injuries have been reported to this point (9:32 p.m. ET)
