BREAKING: Mass Shooting at Florida High School

Below is AlBoeNews’ coverage of the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

At least 14 people have been reportedly injured. A suspect is in custody and was transported to the hospital. At least 15 people have died.

According to the fire department, between 20 to 50 people may be injured. The U.S. Coast Guard and Palm Beach County are sending helicopters to aid. Several people were being loaded onto ambulances at the scene. (source)

President Trump has been made aware of the situation.

The suspect is reportedly in custody, per WSVN.

CBS reports that students though that the shooting was another drill, after they had one earlier in the day.

Florida Senator Bill Nelson says that there are “many deaths” in the shooting.

The Broward Sheriff Department confirms that the suspect is in custody, but the scene remains active.

At least 14 victims so far. They have been transported to local hospitals.

As many as 7 are dead, per CBS Miami.

The suspect has been reportedly identified as Nikolas Cruz, a former student who had been banned from campus after there were problems last year with him threatening students. Prior to that, he was not allowed to bring a backpack to school. (source)
