Several nightclubs in Los Angeles will be increasing security during the NBA All-Star Weekend after performer Cardi B was threatened by multiple gangs.
Cardi has an agreement to host the festivities at 3 nightclubs as part of the events surrounding All-Star Game Weekend, where many are expected to flock the weekend of February 16th. The threats, which were levied by many members of the Crips, came after Cardi B posted a picture on Instagram wearing a blue coat and saying “I hate wearing flue.”
The nightclubs have hired tripled the normal number of security guards to reinforce their security. They also have recruited off-duty police officers. The threats are being taken very seriously, and the owners want to prevent an outbreak of gang violence in the area.
