DEVELOPING: Lead Singer of “The Cranberries” Dies

Dolores O’Riordan has died at the age of 46 in London, according to her publicist.

The statement went on to say that she died “suddenly” but did not go into further details on the matter. She was currently in London for a recording session.

The Cranberries rose into prominence in the 1990s with hits such as “Linger,” “Zombie” and “Dreams.” The group has sold over 40 million albums worldwide. They had recently cancelled parts of their tour in 2017 due to O’Riordan’s recurring back problems. (source) 1:25 p.m. ET January 15 2018
