The University of Arizona is considering firing head football coach Rich Rodriguez after a legal claim was filed with the office of the attorney general of Arizona that Rodriguez ran a hostile workplace at the university.
“A notice of claim is an advance notice of a lawsuit against a public body. Most notices of claim are first sent to the Arizona Board of Regents or the University of Arizona itself. This claim went directly to the attorney general’s office.” (source)
UPDATE: Rich Rodriguez has been fired by the University of Arizona following allegations of a hostile workplace and sexual harassment by a former administrative assistant. The school says the claims cannot be substantiated.
