#BREAKING: Gunshots in Front of Pennsylvania Statehouse

Gunfire was heard in front of the Pennsylvania statehouse in Harrisburg on Friday afternoon.

The incident may have been preceded by a crash that involved a police cruiser. It is unclear if there are any injuries at this time. No word on if the suspect is in custody. (source) 5:18 p.m. ET December 22, 2017

Update: The incident reportedly began when shots were fired from a car. The shots hit a Capitol Police vehicle. No injuries reported. (source) 7:00 p.m. ET

The suspect in the vehicle was shot dead, and the bomb squad was called to the scene due to a device seen with the suspect.

An officer was injured, but is expected to be okay. – 8:00 p.m. ET
