A man in Clermont, Florida, has been arrested after he purposefully caused a collision at an intersection he believed to be too dangerous. An SUV was coming through the intersection when the man pulled out in front of him, according to the police report.
Bruce John Homer, 61, is now facing charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon as well as reckless driving causing property damage with personal injury. Homer reportedly told officers at the scene that “you guys (law enforcement) never do anything about it.” After the accident, Homer approached the wrecked SUV and told the driver, “you ran the stop sign and this is the 10th accident at this intersection and they won’t do anything until someone dies.” (source) 1:43 p.m. ET November 22, 2017
