The much maligned director Harvey Weinstein is suing the company he founded, The Weinstein Co. for company records that could help his case against the 58 sexual harassment allegations that he faces, according to Reuters.
In the lawsuit, Weinstein alleges that he needs the information in order to prevent the company from harmful legal settlements. Despite being fired as co-chairman, Weinstein remains a large investor in the company.
He also said that he wants to see if any of his information was leaked to the press, or if he was wrongly terminated from his position.
