AP reports that a Washington appeals court is blocking an abortion sought by a pregnant 17-year old immigrant being held at a Texas facility.
In a 2-1 decision, the court decided that the government should have until October 31st to release her into the custody of a sponsor. She can then have an abortion. If they do not release her, the case can come back to court.
