HOLLYWOOD HILLS, FLORIDA (ALBOENEWS) — The Florida Nursing Home where 12 deaths occurred during Hurricane Irma has closed.
CNN reports that it has also laid off 245 people as a result. The 12 patients that died were between the ages of 57 and 99. State officials say that the nursing home closed on September 20th, notifying them 7 days later. Employees were not notified that they were laid off within 60 days.
