SAN FRANCISCO (ALBOENEWS) — Media streaming giant Netflix announces its intentions to increase the rates on two of its subscription plans, reports AP.
Users will begin receiving notices of these hikes on Oct. 19 and will have the following 30 days to decide on whether or not to keep their current subscription.
As it stands, Netflix’s most popular subscription which includes the ability for two devices to stream at once, both in high-definition, will go from $10 to $11 monthly. For those who desire 4K high definition streaming, rates will go from $12 to $14 monthly. Netflix’s basic option, which offers a single stream at non-HD will remain at $8.
