#BREAKING: South Korea Approves Millions in Aid to North Korea

SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA (ALBOENEWS) — South Korea will send at least $8 million in aid to North Korea for humanitarian reasons, according to the Unification Ministry.

According to Reuters, the “decision was made after a meeting of government officials chaired by Unification Minister Cho Myong-gyon.”

The breakdown of aid will be the following:

“$4.5 million worth of nutritional products for children and pregnant women through the World Food Programme and $3.5 million worth of vaccines and medicinal treatments through UNICEF.”
