HOUSTON (ALBOENEWS) — A lawsuit was filed Thursday morning against Arkema Inc. alleging that the company knowingly did not take precautions that could have prevented the explosions caused by the flooding from Hurricane Harvey.
The suit, filed by first responders who has been negatively affected by the chemical exposures caused by the explosion, claim that Arkema did not have adequate protocol or procedures to prevent an explosion in the event of flooding, a phenomenon that is quite common in Houston, according to the Plaintiffs.
