NEW YORK (ALBOENEWS) — U.S. gas prices are steadying Monday as the country’s oil industry begins to recover from Hurricane Harvey, according to Reuters. Retail gasoline prices climbed only one cent higher Monday, stalling a 20-cent climb last week after Harvey left 50 inches of rainfall over Texas and Louisiana.
Gulf Coast oil and gas operations are resuming and some fuel pipelines will restart. Some ships are beginning to enter and exit the Houston Ship Channel Monday.
